Description

This is a great opportunity to work under supervising physical therapists (PT’s) that promote incorporating a well-balanced treatment plan combination of therapeutic exercise and manual skills (i.e. FDN), along with progressive treatment modalities (i.e. LLLT; Acoustic Shockwave). We treat an 85% adult (orthopedic extremity & spine) to 15% pediatric (CP; torticollis) mixed patient caseload. We welcome and will train new and veteran physical therapist assistants (PTA’s) that have never treated the rewarding pediatric patient population.  Job duties is as follows:

1) PTA is to safely administer patient care including modalities, therapeutic exercise, and gait training according to supervising PT’s established plan of care
2) PTA is to use efficient, comprehensive, and accurate patient documentation
3) PTA is to assist the PT Tech in maintaining appropriate stock of linen, cleaning supplies, and office supplies, as well as, disinfecting treatment equipment.
