Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active MA PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience assisting with mobility training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and ambulation for older adults preferred.
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and document progress in the medical record.
