Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
- Active State PTA license in Colorado required to start assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or outpatient clinic settings preferred.
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and equipment commonly used in outpatient clinics, including hot/cold packs, ultrasound, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and assistive device training.
- Ability to implement treatment plans and document patient progress per facility policies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- CPR/BLS current as required by client. (Preferred: additional certifications such as Certified Assistive Technology Professional or relevant continuing education.)
