Structural Integration Physical Therapy, located in the serene community of Vulcan, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient orthopedic team. Work Environment
As an onsite role, you will work within our modern rehabilitation center equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and a comfortable, inviting atmosphere. You will collaborate daily with fellow therapists, athletic trainers, and administrative personnel, ensuring seamless operations and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical function and mobility, enabling you to develop tailored treatment plans that cater to individual recovery goals.
- Employ a variety of hands-on treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modality applications, to optimize patient pain relief and enhance mobility.
- Educate patients on techniques and exercises that they can incorporate into their daily routines, empowering them in their recovery process.
- Diligently document all treatment sessions and patient progress in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and strategies for improving overall care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work primarily with adult and geriatric populations seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our holistic approach ensures that we consider the person's lifestyle, functional goals, and unique circumstances in their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- A valid and active Michigan Physical Therapy license is mandatory.
- A strong commitment to ethical standards of patient care and autonomy.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Solid hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques, tailored exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems, especially WebPT, will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including:
