Agile Stride Rehab is seeking a compassionate and experienced physical therapist to join our dedicated team at our Galveston, Texas rehabilitation center. This full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional patient care to our geriatric clientele. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide targeted therapies aimed at enhancing mobility and promoting successful aging-in-place.

Work Environment
Our Galveston facility is designed for onsite care, providing an invigorating setting where our staff can maximize their therapeutic effectiveness. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment. Our typical work week runs Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a stable schedule that promotes work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical observations to create tailored treatment plans.
- Deliver skilled therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities, ensuring each session meets the specific needs and goals of the patient.
- Regularly monitor and document patients' progress using electronic medical records, making adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
- Coordinate care with a team of healthcare practitioners to develop and implement a comprehensive approach that addresses all aspects of the patient's health.
- Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
- Administer and participate in fall prevention programs, integrating safety measures that are especially crucial for our senior population.
- Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops and trainings to remain current with advancements in physical therapy.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, ensuring a commitment to providing the highest level of individualized care.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.

- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, ensuring the application of the latest therapeutic techniques in patient care.

- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in geriatric therapy, though new graduates who are passionate about this field are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
