This full-time onsite position focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services tailored to our geriatric population in a home care setting. Work Environment
This role primarily involves providing therapy services within patients' homes, allowing for customized treatment in familiar and comfortable settings. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule within our Monday to Friday work hours, from 9 am to 5 pm, balancing the demands of client care with your personal life. Our supportive team culture emphasizes sharing knowledge and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including strength, range of motion, and functional mobility, allowing for the design of personalized treatment plans that address specific needs and objectives.
- Administer skilled therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and assistive modalities tailored to the unique challenges faced by each geriatric patient.
- Continuously monitor patient progress, meticulously documenting outcomes and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best results.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, which may include occupational and speech therapists, as well as primary care physicians, to deliver integrated patient care.
- Teach patients and caregivers about therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and home safety measures that promote independence and injury prevention.
- Implement and manage fall prevention programs to reduce risks in the home care environment, ensuring that our elderly clients remain safe and supported.
- Stay abreast of advancements in the field of physical therapy through ongoing professional development and continuing education.
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and a commitment to respecting the dignity of all individuals served.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our main focus is on geriatric clients who may be dealing with mobility issues, chronic pain, or recovery following injury or surgery. You will have the privilege of working with an older demographic that has rich life experiences and unique healthcare needs. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Candidates with advanced degrees such as a Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy will be preferred.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with local regulations and professional standards.
- Experience in geriatric therapy is highly advantageous, though we warmly welcome new graduates eager to learn and make a difference in the lives of older adults.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience
While experience in geriatric therapy is preferred, we are interested in candidates who display enthusiasm and commitment to learning. Training in specific therapeutic modalities or techniques related to geriatric care will be additional assets.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
