Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of clinical practice.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Conduct functional training sessions that empower patients and enhance their recovery process.
- Monitor patient progress diligently and provide regular updates to the supervising Physical Therapist, contributing to coordinated care and effective treatment adjustments.
- Educate patients on techniques that improve mobility and prevent re-injury, helping them reach significant rehabilitation milestones.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with clinic standards and applicable state regulations to promote quality assurance and continuity of care.
- Actively participate in team meetings, patient case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus
The PTA will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and sports-related conditions. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to ensure patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
- A strong passion for orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of two years' experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings.
