Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Eligant Axis Behavioral Center, conveniently located in Columbus, Georgia. This role is critical in assisting our patients to recover, regain mobility, and achieve optimal functional independence through targeted rehabilitation strategies. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite within our collaborative and supportive rehabilitation center, which hosts a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our environment fosters teamwork, innovation, and a patient-centered approach, striving to exceed standards in healthcare and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and establish targeted treatment objectives.
• Provide individualized treatment plans, managing a patient load of approximately one client per hour.
• Utilize diverse treatment methodologies to enhance movement, decrease pain, and improve overall physical performance.
• Work directly with patients to motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey, maximizing their potential and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that focus on enhancing strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop cohesive care strategies that facilitate the best outcomes for patients.
• Continuously assess treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients who are recovering from injuries or surgeries, and who are committed to regaining their functional abilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent education is required; Doctorate/Master's in Physical Therapy (DPT) is a plus.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Georgia.
• A clean record free of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic physical therapy and manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in creating and overseeing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
