Work Environment
The work environment at our rehabilitation facility encourages collaboration, mindfulness, and thorough engagement with patients. As a full-time physical therapist, you will work on-site within a serene atmosphere designed for one-on-one interactions. With structured hours from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM, our clinic allows for a balanced work-life schedule while prioritizing effective and impactful patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for each patient to identify their specific needs, challenges, and goals.
- Design and implement customized treatment plans focusing on rehabilitation and long-term recovery.
- Administer individual therapy sessions, ensuring a patient load of approximately one patient per hour to provide undivided attention and care.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management strategies, fostering independence and encouraging active participation in their recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to provide cohesive care, engaging in regular communication about patient progression and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to track progress and outcomes transparently.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work primarily with outpatient clients who present a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Our patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain, requiring specialized rehabilitation to regain function and mobility. Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy License in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MS or DPT) is preferred.
- Strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and effective communication.
- Proficient documentation and time management skills, ensuring quality control and adherence to compliance standards.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is required.
- Experience with manual therapy techniques is highly preferred and will enhance the quality of care provided.

Compensation and Benefits
