Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist in executing tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall physical functionality.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches, ensuring that they understand the steps necessary to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients about proper body mechanics and effective home exercise programs to support their recovery journey.
- Administer physical therapy modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and thermal therapies under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patient progress meticulously by documenting changes in range of motion, strength improvements, and functional capabilities.
- Organize treatment areas and maintain necessary therapy equipment ensuring readiness for patient sessions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which can include Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, fostering a positive rehabilitation environment.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality, adhering to professional practices and patient rights.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role as a PTA will focus on a diverse patient population, which may include individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or requiring rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. You will adapt treatment strategies to meet the specific needs of each patient, ensuring a personalized approach that promotes their physical well-being and recovery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current and valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitative techniques in the context of physical therapy.
- Proven skills in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities with guidance from the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach in providing care, with an aim to facilitate achieving rehabilitation goals.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a range of patient conditions and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational abilities and time management skills.

Preferred Experience
We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in a similar role. Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, particularly with diverse patient populations, will be highly regarded. Demonstrable success in delivering effective rehabilitation therapy and maintaining patient documentation will set you apart as a candidate.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is competitive, starting from USD 60,000 to USD 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
