Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Mercy Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in implementing tailored treatment plans that focus on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality after injury or surgery.
• Guiding patients through various therapeutic exercises, stretches, and rehabilitation activities, ensuring proper techniques to promote effective recovery.
• Administering treatment modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in range of motion and strength, which is essential for modifying treatment plans as needed.
• Preparing treatment areas and ensuring that therapy equipment, tools, and supplies are organized and readily accessible for effective session flow.
• Collaborating with team members to create comprehensive care strategies that address the intricate needs of each patient, ensuring the best possible therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Mercy Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
