Work Environment
The role is based onsite at our well-equipped hospital facility, renowned for its patient-centered approach and experienced healthcare professionals. Operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans tailored to specific patient needs.
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility education.
- Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques and safe equipment utilization to enhance recovery.
- Actively monitor patient progress, documenting changes and reporting them to supervising physical therapists for review.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) to facilitate patient care and follow-up.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout therapy sessions, adapting techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to implement best practices and enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise protocols and recovery strategies, empowering them in their healing journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The PTA will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. The role emphasizes restoring mobility, strength, and overall functionality, contributing directly to improved quality of life for individuals at all stages of recovery. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program is mandatory.
- Active PTA license in Nevada is required prior to starting work.

Compensation and Benefits
