Steady Steps Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. This full-time position is critical in providing high-quality rehabilitation services for a diverse patient population, particularly focusing on sports and orthopedic injuries. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will conduct patient assessments, implement therapeutic treatment plans, and utilize proven therapeutic modalities to enhance patient recovery, alleviate pain, and maximize functional independence.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations alongside the supervising Physical Therapist to assess skills necessary for daily living and identify both strengths and areas in need of improvement.
Execute physical therapy treatment plans by employing various techniques such as exercise instruction, manual therapy, modality application, and assistance with activities of daily living.
Monitor and document patients' responses to therapies and exercises, making timely reports to the supervising Physical Therapist, thereby facilitating timely adjustments to treatment protocols as necessary.
Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, including occupational therapists, physicians, and nurses, to share important patient information and participate in coordinated treatment planning.
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, progress, and ways to facilitate recovery in their home environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The primary demographic served by our facility includes high school, university, and professional athletes who are recovering from injuries. Additionally, we cater to a wide array of patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic surgeries and chronic pain management. Qualifications
A minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required. Candidates must have also passed the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for Physical Therapy Assistants.
An unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas is mandatory.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are vital for working effectively with patients, families, and a cross-functional medical team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary to manage patient evaluations and therapy documentation accurately.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, particularly in sports or orthopedic therapy.
Experience with therapeutic tools and modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
A competitive salary range between $60,000 to $75,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
