Position Overview
Rebound Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance our dynamic rehabilitation team in Beaverton, Oregon. This full-time position offers an opportunity to play a pivotal role in providing tailored patient care that assists clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. The PTA will work onsite at our hospital facility, serving our diverse patient population and supporting treatment plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists.

Work Environment
Located in a modern hospital setting in Beaverton, OR, our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and equipment to facilitate effective physical rehabilitation. As an onsite employee, you will be immersed in a collaborative environment, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans designed to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at fostering physical well-being and alleviating discomfort.
- Educate clients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home-based exercise programs to promote successful recovery.
- Administer modalities, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, under the supervision of Licensed Physical Therapists.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking metrics like range of motion improvements and strength gains.
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain an organized inventory of therapy supplies, ensuring readiness for each session.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create a cohesive treatment strategy for each patient, optimizing recovery outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and motivation, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere for patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.
- Uphold ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and respecting patients' rights at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working with a diverse array of patients, which may include individuals recovering from surgeries, elderly patients with mobility challenges, pediatric clients needing therapeutic support, and athletes looking to rehabilitate injuries. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

- Proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities under Physical Therapist guidance.

Compensation and Benefits
Rebound Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
