Position Overview

Rebound Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance our dynamic rehabilitation team in Beaverton, Oregon. Work Environment

Located in a modern hospital setting in Beaverton, OR, our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapeutic tools and equipment to facilitate effective physical rehabilitation. As an onsite employee, you will be immersed in a collaborative environment, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans designed to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at fostering physical well-being and alleviating discomfort.
• Educate clients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home-based exercise programs to promote successful recovery.
• Administer modalities, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, under the supervision of Licensed Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking metrics like range of motion improvements and strength gains.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain an organized inventory of therapy supplies, ensuring readiness for each session.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create a cohesive treatment strategy for each patient, optimizing recovery outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and motivation, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere for patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.
• Uphold ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and respecting patients' rights at all times.

You will be working with a diverse array of patients, which may include individuals recovering from surgeries, elderly patients with mobility challenges, pediatric clients needing therapeutic support, and athletes looking to rehabilitate injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities under Physical Therapist guidance.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Rebound Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
