Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your role will include:
- Implementing treatment plans developed by a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Conducting patient assessments to gather relevant data and monitor progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
- Engaging effectively with patients and their families to educate them on therapeutic exercises and recovery techniques.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and progress in accordance with organizational policies.
- Upholding infection control standards and applying safety protocols during patient care activities.
- Participating in regular clinical team meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and receive guidance from supervising therapists.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an Associate Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Georgia.
- Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques, particularly in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Preferred Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Compensation and Benefits
