Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team at our Glendale, Arizona location. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Glendale, AZ, our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and a supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and collaboration. The role involves working closely with a team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, fostering an environment where patient-centered care is prioritized. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet patient and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your everyday tasks will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists in the evaluation and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to address physical limitations and improve overall well-being.
• Educating patients on proper body mechanics, effective exercise strategies, and home exercise routines to facilitate recovery beyond the clinic.
• Utilizing modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, adhering to safety protocols under the Physical Therapist's supervision.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, focusing on metrics such as strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
• Maintaining treatment areas, ensuring that all equipment is well-organized and ready for therapy sessions.
• Engaging collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
• Providing emotional support and encouragement, enhancing the patient experience through building trust and rapport.
• Upholding professional standards, including confidentiality and ethical guidelines in every interaction.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, with a valid state license or certification.

• Proven proficiency in executing treatment plans and techniques under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits
