Pro Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our exceptional rehabilitation team in Casa Grande, Arizona. This full-time role is critical in delivering high-quality care to our patients and plays a significant part in implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The successful candidate will work onsite at a hospital facility, contributing to patient recovery and overall wellness.

Work Environment
The successful PTA will operate in a supportive and collaborative hospital environment, where teamwork and patient-centered care are at the forefront. The clinic's bustling atmosphere requires adaptability and flexibility, as you will be engaging with a diverse patient population and working alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be needed based on patient requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing customized treatment protocols aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and functionality.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and various activities designed to alleviate pain and foster physical well-being.
- Educate patients on techniques to improve body mechanics, therapeutic exercises, and at-home care activities to promote effective recovery.
- Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation and ultrasound, while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in strength, range of motion, and overall treatment outcomes.
- Prepare treatment spaces, chemicals, and tools to ensure an organized and efficient workflow during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to optimize patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
- Provide emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment that encourages their commitment toward recovery.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and staff.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The patients you'll work with come from varied backgrounds and present with diverse conditions, ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management and rehabilitation following sports injuries. Understanding individual needs and adapting treatments accordingly will be crucial. Our approach is patient-centered, focusing on tailored interventions to ensure that everyone received the care required for successful rehabilitation.
Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Possession of a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong foundational knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to physical therapy.
- Proven ability to implement therapeutic exercises and modalities under a supervising Physical Therapist.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective engagement with patients and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- A compassionate approach to care, showcasing a genuine interest in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Ability to tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of varied patient populations.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical rehabilitation setting is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
