Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our innovative rehabilitation team at our Las Vegas facility. Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite hospital, designed to foster collaboration among various healthcare professionals. Our clinic features modern therapy equipment and comfortable treatment areas that create an inviting environment for both patients and staff. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility as needed to better serve patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in delivering tailored treatment plans that address specific patient needs, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, such as stretching and strengthening activities, while monitoring their form and progression closely to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and techniques to facilitate their recovery, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their health independently at home.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, documenting changes in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
• Prepare treatment areas before sessions, ensuring that all equipment is organized and in working order to facilitate a seamless therapy experience.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care, optimizing patient outcomes.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for patients by providing emotional support during their rehabilitation journey, recognizing the psychological components of physical recovery.
• Uphold and adhere to professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and the respectful treatment of all individuals in accordance with ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range across various demographics, including geriatrics needing post-surgical rehabilitation to athletes recovering from sports injuries. Our clinic's focus is on tailoring treatment to meet the diverse needs of our clientele, fostering an inclusive approach that recognizes individual backgrounds and challenges.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, with a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology.
• Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Proficient understanding of therapeutic techniques and modalities utilized in the physical therapy field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• A patient-centered, compassionate approach to care, emphasizing each patient's unique rehabilitation journey.
• Adeptness in modifying treatment plans based on patient progress and individual needs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply, previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is considered an asset. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation processes is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
