Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team located in Henderson, Nevada. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of patient care by implementing personalized therapeutic plans alongside licensed Physical Therapists. Your contributions will focus on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functionality, helping them return to their daily activities with confidence.

Work Environment
As a Physical Therapist Assistant working onsite in our hospital, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. The environment is fast-paced yet supportive, focused on providing high-quality care in various clinical settings. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans tailored to achieve patient mobility, strength, and functionality.
- Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed for physical rehabilitation and pain management.
- Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery process.
- Administer therapeutic modalities, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
- Prepare treatment areas prior to therapy sessions, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and accessible.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes and quality of services provided.
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a positive rehabilitation experience by cultivating trust and motivation.
- Uphold ethical standards within a confidential and professional healthcare environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, and other physical impairments. You will engage with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet each patient's specific rehabilitation goals and challenges.
Qualifications
- An Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- A valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions pertinent to physical therapy.
- Proven ability to implement therapeutic exercises and modalities in accordance with established protocols.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building effective patient relationships and collaborating within a healthcare team.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to patient advocacy and support.
- Flexibility to adapt treatment plans based on various patient needs and responses.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, ensuring efficient therapeutic processes.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working in a rehabilitation or hospital setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure accurate documentation and tracking of patient progress.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, cultivating the ability to customize approaches to various age groups and conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
