Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized treatment plans designed to enhance patient mobility, strength, and functionality tailored to their specific rehabilitation goals.
- Lead patients in a variety of therapeutic exercises and stretching routines, monitoring their performance to ensure optimal execution and effectiveness.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics, empowering them with tools and knowledge to support continuous rehabilitation beyond the clinical setting.
- Apply therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the oversight of the Physical Therapist.
- Regularly document and assess patient progress, addressing key metrics such as range of motion improvements, strength development, and overall functional capabilities.
- Prepare treatment areas according to the necessary protocols, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for therapy sessions, thereby maximizing efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, share insights, and engage in case discussions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide ongoing emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive environment and motivating them every step of the way.
- Adhere strictly to professional and ethical standards, maintaining absolute patient confidentiality and respecting their rights throughout treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Possession of a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

- Demonstrated proficiency in executing therapeutic exercises and modalities with appropriate supervision.

Compensation and Benefits
