Work Environment
This role is based onsite, offering home care services where therapists work directly with patients in their residences. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, which provides our staff with a regular, predictable work-life balance that is increasingly valued in the healthcare field. The home care setting allows you to practice in a comfort-focused environment, thus ensuring quality care delivery while developing long-lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, ensuring a thorough understanding of their medical history, goals, and preferences.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that leverage therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Regularly assess and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to adapt to their evolving needs.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to create a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs, focusing on injury prevention and safety.
- Implement and monitor fall prevention initiatives and safety protocols to minimize risks within the assisted living community.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy while pursuing continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
- Maintain high ethical standards and professional conduct, ensuring patient confidentiality and upholding best practices in therapeutic care.

Compensation and Benefits
