This position is held onsite in our outpatient office located in Dallardsville, TX. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific therapeutic needs and goals.
- Deliver compassionate and effective therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and various modalities tailored for our geriatric clientele.
- Regularly monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to align on a holistic approach to patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic practices, home exercise protocols, and preventative strategies to enhance continued wellness post-treatment.
- Implement safety measures and fall prevention programs specific to our patient population to minimize risks and promote independence.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in relevant continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to professional ethical standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure the highest level of care is consistently delivered.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will be primarily serving a geriatric patient population, focusing on individuals who are navigating the complexities of aging, recovering from injuries, or managing chronic conditions. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
- Current and valid State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMRs) and relevant documentation systems to ensure efficient patient tracking and care.
- Ability to understand and apply evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience
- Although experience in geriatric therapy is preferred, we welcome applications from new graduates who are passionate about this area of specialization.
Compensation and Benefits
