Work Environment
This is an onsite position based at our well-equipped rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The center provides modern facilities designed for optimal patient recovery and includes treatment areas, rehabilitation equipment, and private consultation spaces. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a stable routine that ensures a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities to identify their specific needs and goals.
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans, utilizing therapies such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities tailored to individual patients.
- Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to facilitate holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs to encourage ongoing recovery.
- Implement fall prevention strategies and safety measures to ensure the well-being of our patients living in assisted living communities.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy to continually enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.
- Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and a commitment to exemplary care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our primary focus is on the geriatric population, who often face unique health challenges related to aging, including mobility limitations, chronic pain, and recovery from surgeries or injuries. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with an active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, facilitating seamless documentation and patient management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering meaningful relationships with patients, families, and fellow healthcare providers.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a dedication to patient-centered care practices.

Preferred Experience
- At least one year of experience in geriatric physical therapy is preferred; however, recent graduates with a passion for this patient population are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
