Work Environment
The physical therapist will work on-site in our newly established assisted living community. Key Responsibilities
- Assess and establish individualized therapy goals in collaboration with patients, ensuring alignment with their specific needs and capabilities.
- Implement evidence-based treatment techniques that enhance mobility, increase strength, and improve overall functionality.
- Leverage clinical expertise to develop comprehensive care plans that address the full range of physical rehabilitation needs.
- Utilize various modalities and therapeutic exercises to promote recovery and minimize dependence on medications or invasive procedures.
- Educate and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, advocating for a healthy and active lifestyle by creating personalized fitness and wellness programs.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions diligently, and adjust therapeutic approaches based on ongoing evaluation of outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care, consulting regularly with occupational therapists, physicians, and nursing staff.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness initiatives among the geriatric population.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will primarily serve elderly patients, often dealing with complex health issues related to aging. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
- Strong knowledge of current geriatric therapeutic practices and treatment methodologies.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with both patients and colleagues.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
