Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your contributions will be vital to our patients' rehabilitation journey. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Assisting physical therapists in evaluating patients' needs and progress.
• Implementing prescribed therapeutic interventions to facilitate mobility and reduce pain.
• Educating patients on appropriate exercises and self-care techniques to enhance recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress, ensuring adherence to established treatment plans.
• Adjusting treatment methods based on patient responses and feedback, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Utilizing effective communication skills to report patient status and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards in healthcare documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population that includes individuals with various physical impairments resulting from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will play a crucial role in developing personalized rehabilitation strategies that target patients' specific needs, helping them regain autonomy and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of physiology best practices and rehabilitation protocols.
• Proficiency in administering therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience
