Key Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, ensuring that each patient receives tailored intervention plans.
- Utilize specific modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to support pain management and expedite recovery processes.
- Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting responses to treatment and adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with Physical Therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and refine comprehensive treatment strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise routines and self-care techniques to promote ongoing recovery and prevent relapses.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation in accordance with clinic standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work with a diverse group of patients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications
- Must possess an active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
