This full-time role, located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the health and recovery of our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, managing the therapeutic processes for your assigned patients in close coordination with physicians and the patient care team.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and engage in the development and implementation of individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific goals, promoting patient engagement, and enhancing overall patient experiences.
- Administer and oversee a majority of the physical therapy services through direct interaction with patients, ensuring continuity of care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Perform evaluations and provide treatment interventions that align with your scope of practice as defined by legal, ethical, and professional standards.
- Assess and evaluate each patient's therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to contribute to a comprehensive plan of care tailored to their needs.
- Provide skilled therapeutic care in the clinic and, as necessary, in the patient's home, utilizing techniques that effectively contribute to positive changes in their condition or function.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the use of various therapies, exercises, therapeutic devices, and prosthetics to be practiced outside therapy sessions.
- Manage your caseload effectively, prioritizing patient needs while coordinating with staff to ensure seamless transitions and hand-offs.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic conditions, and other physical impairments. You will be instrumental in helping patients regain mobility, enhance their physical capabilities, and improve their overall health outcomes through personalized rehabilitation protocols.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of your employment start date.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of one year of experience is preferred, recent graduates who demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence in patient care are also encouraged to apply.
