As part of our highly skilled team, which includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will play a crucial role in shaping the recovery journey of our clients.
Work Environment
This full-time position is onsite at our advanced rehabilitation facility located in Prescott, Arizona. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to enjoy a consistent schedule. You will work in a supportive environment that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and high-quality patient care, all while engaging with a diverse client population.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and understand the unique objectives and requirements of each patient to provide personalized care.
- Manage a caseload with an average of two patients per hour, providing thorough and effective treatment.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at improving physical function and mobility.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, tailored to meet individual patient needs.
- Design and execute customized fitness and wellness programs, fostering optimal recovery and long-term health benefits.
- Leverage manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment sessions, outcomes, and patient progress.
- Encourage patients to actively participate in their recovery process, promoting motivation and adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans based on ongoing patient assessments.
- Seek to minimize reliance on medication through effective non-surgical treatment alternatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation services, primarily through private medical insurance. You will interact with a diverse range of clients, from those recovering from surgeries to individuals managing chronic pain or sports-related injuries. Your efforts will be pivotal in helping these patients regain strength, flexibility, and overall functional ability, ultimately enabling them to return to their daily lives with enhanced mobility and reduced pain.
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with eligibility for licensure in Arizona.
- Current and valid license as a Physical Therapist in Prescott, Arizona, with no history of disciplinary actions.
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
- Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, with familiarity in platforms like WebPT.
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably within outpatient orthopedic settings, aligning with our commitment to delivering high-quality care and patient satisfaction. Experience in patient assessments, individualized treatment planning, and exercise program implementation will be advantageous.
