Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will operate primarily in our patients' homes, allowing for tailored, personalized interactions that support their unique rehabilitation needs. This dynamic work environment not only enhances patient comfort but also fosters deeper relationships between therapists and clients. You will benefit from a schedule that promotes work-life balance, operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. With an average caseload of one patient per hour, you will have the opportunity to focus intently on each individual's recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical health and mobility limitations, developing customized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs, to address pain, improve mobility, and enhance recovery.
• Provide clear and engaging education to patients about their conditions, recommended exercises, and expected outcomes to empower them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, leveraging a multidisciplinary approach to elevate patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing communication amongst the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic for this role includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach emphasizes holistic care, where we tailor our interventions to meet the specific needs of each client. By working closely with patients in their own environment, you will be able to directly observe and address barriers to their recovery, providing them with the tools and support necessary for lasting health improvements.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with a patient-focused approach to therapy.
• Exceptional communication abilities, enabling effective interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficiency with manual therapy techniques is preferred, but not required. We invite all levels of experience to apply.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in outpatient physical therapy is required. Candidates with experience in home health care settings or who possess additional specialty certifications will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
