Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility is equipped with advanced technologies and resources that support injury recovery and rehabilitation. Work Environment
Our facility operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. As an onsite therapist, you will work closely with a small yet dynamic team of two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. This collaborative environment encourages shared knowledge and expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation, essential for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals, movement limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Manage a patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, to ensure focused individual care.
- Implement effective treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Explore alternatives to surgical interventions, emphasizing functional improvement and reduced dependence on medication.
- Engage patients in developing personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with their recovery objectives.
- Regularly document patient progress and treatment outcomes, maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Motivate and encourage patients through their treatment process, showcasing the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Evaluate and monitor treatment progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on individual responses.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our practice primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance seeking recovery from orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The diverse patient population we cater to requires therapists who can adapt treatment approaches to accommodate various ages, activity levels, and recovery goals. You will play a pivotal role in not just restoring physical function but also in enhancing overall patient well-being and independence.
Qualifications
- Must have earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Maintain a valid state license as a Physical Therapist with no disciplinary actions on record.
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Exceptional ability to design and implement exercise protocols customized to specific patient needs.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of sports medicine principles and rehabilitation methodologies.
- Experience in developing and leading patient wellness workshops is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
