Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing tailored treatment interventions, informed by patient assessments performed by licensed Physical Therapists.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, emphasizing correct techniques to enhance mobility and strength.
• Facilitate manual therapy techniques and modalities to alleviate pain and improve functional mobility.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring effective communication with the entire care team.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and general wellness practices.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care approaches and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in treatment methodologies.
• Provide encouragement and positivity to patients, building trust and a supportive healing relationship.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a PTA will primarily involve working with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
