Work Environment
You will work in a modern hospital setting that is dedicated to orthopedic care, surrounded by state-of-the-art equipment and advanced therapeutic tools. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing tailored treatment interventions, informed by patient assessments performed by licensed Physical Therapists.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, emphasizing correct techniques to enhance mobility and strength.
- Facilitate manual therapy techniques and modalities to alleviate pain and improve functional mobility.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring effective communication with the entire care team.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of home exercises, injury prevention strategies, and general wellness practices.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care approaches and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in treatment methodologies.
- Provide encouragement and positivity to patients, building trust and a supportive healing relationship.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role as a PTA will primarily involve working with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
