Revivo Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic, patient-centered team in Liberty, Missouri. In this full-time role, you will be working onsite at our hospital facility, providing essential support to our licensed Physical Therapists as they develop and implement rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individualized patient treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the application of modalities such as heat and cold therapy.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment outcomes, and communicating observations and concerns effectively with the supervising PT.
• Engage and motivate patients, offering emotional support and encouragement to help them stay committed to their rehabilitation programs.
• Prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and maintained per hygiene and safety protocols.
• Support patient flow by efficiently managing appointment schedules and advising patients on exercises and rehabilitation practices to continue at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and post-operative care. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating their recovery journey, addressing both physical and emotional needs, thereby enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of a current Missouri PTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an authentic passion for providing empathetic patient care.
• Ability to follow clinical instructions, stay organized, and demonstrate a proactive, independent work ethic.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably within an orthopedic setting.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient information and treatment progress.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques relevant to orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 per year, contingent upon your experience and qualifications.
