Work Environment
Situated within a well-equipped hospital facility, our outpatient orthopedic clinic allows for a dynamic and engaging work setting. The clinic is designed to support both high patient volumes and a variety of treatment modalities. As a full-time PTA, your schedule will primarily be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
- Implement customized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring that each patient receives the specific interventions necessary to meet their recovery goals.
- Guide patients through a range of therapeutic exercises and functional training routines to support their rehabilitation efforts, adapting activities to each individual's capabilities and needs.
- Utilize manual therapy techniques and various modalities, such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility for patients recovering from orthopedic conditions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and any changes in the patient's condition, facilitating effective communication within the care team.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercises and strategies for injury prevention, fostering independence and proactive health management.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of patient care practices and protocols, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.
- Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process, establishing trust and rapport that are essential for effective healing.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role as a PTA will center on serving patients with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis management, and more. Qualifications
- Successful graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, ensuring proficiency in essential physical therapy principles and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance, along with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
