Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists, ensuring that interventions are carried out safely and effectively.
- Assist patients through a structured regimen of therapeutic exercises and specialized stretches aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall function.
- Utilize manual therapy techniques and various modalities, such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, to optimize pain management and rehabilitation outcomes.
- Accurately document patient progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring seamless communication with the entire care team.
- Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and wellness practices to reinforce treatment goals outside the clinic.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices by sharing insights and staying informed about advancements in physical therapy.
- Provide empathetic support and positive reinforcement as patients navigate their recovery journey, becoming their trusted ally in achieving health and wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus
At Motion Health PT, we primarily serve orthopedic patients, including those recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, and post-operative orthopedic surgeries. You will work with individuals of all ages, from adolescent athletes to elderly patients, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Understanding this diverse patient population is crucial for providing effective, individualized care aimed at restoring functionality and improving quality of life.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
- A positive and professional demeanor, along with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
