Work Environment
The successful candidate will work onsite in our well-equipped hospital environment, which features modern treatment facilities and advanced rehabilitation technologies. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at PhysioSpace LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in implementing personalized treatment plans to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and functionality.
- Administering tailored therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
- Using various modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on patients' progress and responses to therapy interventions to ensure optimum treatment efficacy.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans in accordance with patient needs.
- Educating patients and their families on home exercise regimens, pain management strategies, and injury prevention methods.
- Maintaining updated and accurate documentation in compliance with established clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The PTA will primarily work with patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Our focus on individualized care means you will frequently adapt interventions to fit specific patient needs and progress, ensuring that each individual receives the most effective treatment tailored to their unique circumstances.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia and possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to compassionate care are essential for success in this position.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
