Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, utilizing evidence-based techniques to assess mobility and functional capabilities.
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing strength, mobility, and functional performance based on each patient's unique needs.
- Implement and execute treatment sessions using various modalities, active exercises, and hands-on techniques tailored to patient-specific presenting issues.
- Educate patients on their treatment processes along with strategies for long-term health maintenance and injury prevention, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.
- Collaborate closely with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure consistent and effective patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes persistently to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate continuity of care.
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies that enhance overall treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for a Physical Therapist Assistant license in Oregon.

- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and the ability to document patient care accurately.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
