Located in a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine facility, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient care, focusing on empowering our clients through evidence-based therapies. With a commitment to advancing health and wellness, our team consists of skilled professionals who provide exceptional service, primarily to patients with private medical insurance.
Work Environment
This full-time position is based onsite at our Columbus rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside two experienced Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). We foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that encourages continuous learning and innovation, ensuring our team is well-equipped to provide the highest level of patient care. The scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent and balanced work-life dynamic.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their unique objectives and requirements in a clinical setting.
- Manage a steady patient caseload of one patient per hour, providing timely and efficient treatments.
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to create personalized care plans aimed at enhancing movement and mobility.
- Develop and adapt fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each individual patient.
- Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, continually encouraging them to maximize their functional abilities.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
- Document services and progress meticulously, maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Monitor treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient feedback and clinical assessments.
Patient Population / Client Focus
At our facility, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population consisting mainly of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Your role will focus on restoring their physical function through tailored rehabilitation strategies that promote strength, flexibility, and overall mobility. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and individualized care to enhance our clients' well-being.
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Cleans record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
- Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to patients' needs.
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in various physical therapy modalities and their application in treatment plans.
- Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
