Work Environment
Your new workplace is a well-respected outpatient orthopedic clinic where patient-centered care is paramount. With a commitment to individualized treatment, you'll find a friendly, supportive atmosphere that values teamwork and professional growth. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced schedule without weekend shifts. The small patient caseload ensures that each patient receives thorough and personalized attention during their appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that address each patient's specific needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to restore physical function, alleviate pain, and enhance mobility.
- Educate patients and their families on self-care methods, exercise regimens, and recovery expectations to facilitate long-term success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR), utilizing platforms such as WebPT for effective documentation and communication.
- Work collaboratively with other clinical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will mainly involve working with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. This includes athletes rehabilitating post-injury, elderly patients regaining mobility after surgery, and individuals seeking to overcome pain or improve their quality of life. Your compassion and expertise will directly contribute to their healing journey, as you support them in achieving their health goals.
Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
- Proficient record-keeping abilities using EMR systems.
- A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques is essential.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
