Marshall Movement Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Marquette, Michigan. Work Environment

This position will primarily operate in a home care setting, ensuring our services reach patients in the comfort of their own homes. This approach allows for greater flexibility and personalized assessments. Working onsite during traditional business hours from Monday to Friday (9 AM to 5 PM), our Physical Therapists manage a moderate patient volume with the capacity to deliver individualized, focused care to one patient per hour.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Marshall Movement, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations to assess their current condition and identify therapy goals.
• Creating tailored treatment plans while considering individual patient needs, preferences, and mobility challenges.
• Implementing one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing modalities appropriate for orthopedic care.
• Providing valuable patient education about their diagnosis, treatment plan, and techniques for self-management.
• Encouraging patient independence through functional progress and self-caretaking strategies.
• Engaging with interdisciplinary teams to maintain care alignment and share insights for holistic treatment.
• Documenting all evaluations, treatments, and patient interactions in our electronic medical record (EMR) system with accuracy and attention to detail.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation following injury. You will work closely with a diverse patient demographic, which may include young adults, seniors, and athletes, all with unique rehabilitation needs that require a personalized care approach.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; higher education such as a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
• Effective communication skills for clear patient education and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience in a similar clinical environment is required, experience in home health care and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly valued. Candidates possessing skills in manual therapy will find these advantageous in our treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

Marshall Movement Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range between $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
