Work Environment
The position is based in our modern, well-equipped outpatient office in Quinnesec, a charming community that offers a blend of suburban and outdoor living. You will work in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere with an established team of healthcare professionals. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance that allows you to focus both on your professional responsibilities and personal life.
Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist, your daily activities will revolve around providing patient-centered care and developing effective treatment plans. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and set personalized goals.
- Creating individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient needs.
- Administering one-on-one therapy sessions, employing a variety of techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise training.
- Educating patients and their families on treatment protocols, exercises, and injury prevention strategies to encourage active participation in their recovery.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and overall patient wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on enhancing mobility, reducing pain, and improving the overall quality of life for our patients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients, including athletes of all ages, active adults, and post-operative patients, each requiring tailored treatment strategies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and hold an active PT license in Michigan. We are looking for a therapist who aligns with our patient-centered approach and values the importance of building long-lasting relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience
While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we welcome applications from enthusiastic professionals with a strong desire to learn and grow. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and proficiency in manual therapy techniques will be considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as matched 401(k) contributions to help you plan for your future. Continuing education unit (CEU) reimbursement is available to support your professional development.
