Summit Motion LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team in Norway, Michigan. This full-time position focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation journey. Work Environment
Our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology, creating an ideal environment for patient care and professional growth. You'll find a supportive team atmosphere where collaboration and communication are encouraged. The work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work/life commitment. In this role, you will interact directly with patients in a clinical setting designed for rehabilitation, fostering therapeutic relationships that motivate and inspire.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with a range of orthopedic conditions, such as sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain syndromes.
- Create individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
- Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training programs aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing strength.
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, biomechanics of movement, and the importance of adherence to home exercise programs to support long-term health.
- Collaborate effectively with orthopedic specialists, physician assistants, and other healthcare staff to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary based on advancements in recovery.
- Stay abreast of new developments in the field of orthopedic rehabilitation and continuously incorporate fresh methodologies into practice to enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient demographic is diverse, ranging from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to individuals rehabbing after surgical procedures and managing chronic orthopedic issues. Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Michigan is required.
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy is essential, with a minimum of two years of experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate well with patients, fostering a supportive and motivating therapeutic environment.
- Ability to devise and implement robust patient-specific treatment plans that adapt to individual progress and needs.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable, specifically in orthopedics.

- Successful track record of developing and executing ambitious rehabilitation plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
