Marshall Movement Physical Therapy is actively seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Skandia, Michigan. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional one-on-one patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, dedicated to promoting recovery and improving overall quality of life.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, providing a structured environment where practitioners can engage directly with patients and colleagues. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with regular hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. The clinic's setup facilitates comprehensive care delivery, offering a relaxing space conducive to recovery. You will be responsible for a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patient needs and conditions.
• Utilizing various rehabilitation techniques to restore function, mobility, and strength, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Educating patients about their conditions, self-management techniques, and progress tracking to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Conducting regular evaluations and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, continuously striving to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participating in team case reviews to share insights, discuss patient progress, and collaborate on multi-disciplinary care approaches.
• Documenting patient interactions and treatment results in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, preferably WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and injury management. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, weekend warriors, and active individuals of all ages seeking to regain optimal function and return to their everyday activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid physical therapy license to practice in Michigan.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to connect with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from both new graduates and seasoned professionals, candidates with at least two years of experience in orthopedic care will receive preference. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation techniques and a passion for patient education will also be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
