Work Environment

Working hours are structured with a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life experience, with options ranging from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive initial evaluations to accurately assess patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Implement and modify individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and balance.
• Employ various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, utilizing modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to address musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
• Foster collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to create a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercise regimens, resources for adaptive equipment, and strategies for preventing further injury.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, including treatment interventions, patient responses, and discharge recommendations, in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Graduated from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Compensation and Benefits
