Work Environment
This role is based onsite at our hospital facility, offering a supportive and dynamic workplace surrounded by healthcare professionals committed to delivering exemplary care. Working hours are structured with a Monday to Friday schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life experience, with options ranging from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive initial evaluations to accurately assess patients' physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Implement and modify individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and balance.
- Employ various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, utilizing modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to address musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
- Foster collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to create a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercise regimens, resources for adaptive equipment, and strategies for preventing further injury.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, including treatment interventions, patient responses, and discharge recommendations, in alignment with regulatory standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
- Graduated from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- Current and valid California PTA License is required.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
