Positive Steps Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our comprehensive orthopedic care team in Little Lake, Michigan. Work Environment
Located in the picturesque town of Little Lake, Michigan, our facility is designed for optimal patient and staff comfort. The office operates on-site during standard business hours, offering a collaborative and inviting atmosphere. Our dedicated team works Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, maintaining a manageable patient load of approximately one patient per hour, allowing ample time for in-depth assessments and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations, assessing each patient's physical capabilities and needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at helping patients achieve their therapeutic goals.
- Implement hands-on therapeutic interventions, employing a variety of techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and their families, providing encouragement, education, and updates on progress toward their recovery.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals within our facility to review treatment strategies and improve outcomes.
- Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation, catering to a diverse population of patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. We pride ourselves on developing long-term relationships with our patients, fostering an environment that not only promotes physical healing but also emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of practical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manual therapy techniques, which enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Familiarity with WebPT software for patient management and documentation is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills to maintain an effective workflow.
Compensation and Benefits
Positive Steps Physical Therapy offers a competitive compensation package with an annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 based on experience and qualifications.
