Motion Health PT is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become a vital part of our dynamic outpatient clinic located in Ozark, Missouri. Work Environment
Located in the heart of Ozark, our outpatient clinic provides a supportive and welcoming environment where patients can receive the high-quality care they deserve. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and modalities to ensure that our team can execute treatment plans effectively and efficiently. Our supportive hospital setting allows for seamless communication with an interdisciplinary care team, enhancing the overall patient experience. You will work a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which supports a balanced work-life integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and adapt individualized treatment plans as designed by licensed Physical Therapists, ensuring patient care is tailored to each individual's specific needs.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, with precision and safety to facilitate recovery.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, documenting progress accurately in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, and communicating any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
- Provide education to patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, safety precautions, and methods to prevent further injuries, fostering their engagement in the recovery process.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging environment for both patients and staff, promoting a culture of support and teamwork within the clinic.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and effective patient care that addresses all facets of health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic also emphasizes preventive care and injury rehabilitation, making patient education and empowerment central to our mission. By fostering strong relationships with patients, you will be positioned to provide individualized support that enables them to achieve their personal health goals.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance (or similar) from an accredited program, ensuring a solid foundation in physical therapy principles.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Missouri or eligibility to obtain such licensure.
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong focus on teamwork, which are essential for engaging effectively with patients and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance.
