Work Environment
As a Physical Therapist Assistant within our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will benefit from a supportive and collaborative work environment. Our team is made up of experienced Physical Therapists and clinical staff who strive to create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes both patient satisfaction and team success. You will typically work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing essential therapy services in a well-organized setting aimed at achieving the best outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute treatment plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists, adhering to best practices in patient care.
- Guide patients through a series of therapeutic exercises and activities, such as stretching, strength training, balance exercises, and mobility improvement techniques.
- Monitor patient progress closely, documenting treatment responses and any changes in condition, then communicating these observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide encouragement, instructions, and alternative strategies to ensure patient engagement and adherence to therapy protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapeutic environment, including setting up equipment and ensuring safety and hygiene in treatment spaces.
- Assist clinic operations by contributing positively to team dynamics and delivering a high standard of professionalism throughout patient interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus
At Tranquil Pines, our patients frequently include elderly individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, rehabilitation patients with sports-related injuries, and those seeking improved physical functionality following various medical conditions. As a PTA, you will have the opportunity to work with this diverse group, adapting therapeutic interventions to suit their specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
Qualifications
- A current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to secure licensure.
- Demonstrated strong clinical judgment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care, exhibiting both empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for helping patients overcome physical challenges.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in orthopedic outpatient or sports rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a highly competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
