Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients, implementing therapeutic physical therapy programs, and updating treatment plans according to physician directives. Coverage will include both outpatient and acute rehabilitation settings.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by physicians.
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Manage a full caseload independently.
- Conduct re-evaluations based on insurance authorization requirements.
- Work during Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in outpatient and acute settings, specifically working with adults.
- Valid Hawaii Physical Therapist license is required by the start of the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross is required.
