Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Oklahoma PTA state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred, including exposure to neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, oncological, and general medical patient populations.
- Experience working with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, level II trauma center environment and to engage regularly with an interdisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work across multiple units within a hospital setting.
- Previous experience supervising or overseeing support personnel, students, or assistants preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Hours: 07:30–16:00.
- Shift Days: Monday–Friday, with a minimum of two weekend days per month required.
- Work environment: Fast-paced acute care/hospital setting serving level II trauma patients.
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner.
- Department Size: Rehab team of approximately 45–50 associates including PT, OT, and SLP.
- Floating: Candidate should be prepared to work on all units within the hospital tower.
